FAKOLITH FK 39 – Cleaner for treating surfaces affected by red yeast and mold

Intended use: FAKOLITH FK 39 is an aqueous, acidic solution for treating red yeast (red discoloration) and mold-infested surfaces indoors and outdoors. FAKOLITH FK 39 neutralizes odors and delays bacterial regrowth.

FAKOLITH FK 39 is primarily suitable for removing yeasts and bacteria. These microorganisms are usually reddish in color and multiply rapidly when sufficient nutrients are available and the environment is humid. If renovation work is planned, they must be completely removed before the surface is treated. If painted over, they will quickly impair the adhesion and appearance of the new paint.

The product is particularly recommended for use in residential areas, malt houses, wine cellars, bakeries, and in production, cooling and storage areas of the food industry.

Material base: - Aqueous cleaning concentrate based on acetic acid

Product features / properties: - Water-based, solvent-free - Acidic, pH 2.5 - Strong odor. Smells strongly of acetic acid during application - Chlorine-free - Eliminates musty odors - Delays bacterial growth - Biodegradable - For use on surfaces such as concrete, mineral plasters, synthetic resin plasters, old paintwork, tiles, clinker bricks, natural stone (except marble), etc.

Application: - Application from +2°C - Water-dilutable, 1:2 – 1:5 - Apply with a brush, paintbrush, sponge or spray gun - Contact time approx. 5-10 minutes - Rinse thoroughly with clean water - Protect marble, plastics and uncoated metals from contact - Drying time before recoating, e.g. with the system product FAKOLITH FK 14 or DISPERLITH PRIMER, only 3h (20°C/ 60% rel. humidity) - Consumption: Depending on the application and intensity of the infestation
