FAKOLITH FK 34 – Solvent-based deep primer, aromatic-free

Intended use: FAKOLITH FK 34 is an odorless, deep-penetrating primer for consolidating and leveling existing paintwork and plaster. It is based on aromatic-free solvents. Due to its low application temperature (down to +1°C) and odorlessness, FAKOLITH FK 34 is particularly recommended as a primer for subsequent coating with FAKOLITH pure acrylic paints, such as FAKOLITH FK 32 Rapid Renovation Paint, on substrates in cold storage and storage areas of the food industry.

Application: - Application from +1°C - Dilute with FAKOLITH FK 37 - Brush, roller or airless spray application - Can be recoated with standard coatings - Recommendation: Remain within the system. Topcoat with FAKOLITH anti-mold paints or hygienic coatings - Consumption: 100-200 ml/m²

For primer coats, it is recommended to apply the material liberally using brushes, ensuring it is thoroughly saturated. Clean tools immediately after use with FAKOLITH FK 37 or white spirit (turpentine substitute).

Note: Proper surface preparation is essential. FAKOLITH FK 11 Painter's Cleaner, FAKOLITH FK 12 Germicidal Cleaner, and FAKOLITH FK 14 Antifungal Surface Treatment are proven products for this purpose. Adding white spirit will negatively affect the low-odor formulation. We therefore recommend using FAKOLITH FK 37 Thinner (aromatic-free). The primer should not form a continuous film.
