FAKOLITH FK 1 – Facade paint with film protection against mold and algae growth

Intended use: FAKOLITH FK 1 is a dispersion paint with film protection for the preventive coating of new facades or for the renovation of surfaces affected by mold, algae, and moss in exterior applications. The BIO.FILM.STOP technology reliably and permanently protects the surface of FAKOLITH FK 1 against mold and algae growth. It is particularly suitable for facades exposed to the weather or for buildings located near forest edges or riverbanks.

Tested adhesion: Excellent adhesion (adhesion pull-off on glazed bricks 80-100 kg/cm² UNE-EN ISO 4624-2002 with cross-cut adhesion class 1 UNE-EN ISO 2409:2007). High resistance to weathering, UV radiation, carbonation and alkaline substrates.

BIO.FILM.STOP technology: The carefully selected combination of high-quality binder, pigment, mineral fillers, and active ingredients creates a paint film with high qualitative and quantitative resistance to algae, mold, and bacteria. BIO.FILM.STOP technology acts preventively during the reversible phase.

Application: - Application from +10°C - Brushing, rolling, airless spraying - Drying time between coats approx. 2h, fully dry and load-bearing after 48h (20°C/ 60% rel. humidity) - Water-dilutable - Consumption: Approx. 250 ml/m²
