Purpose of use:
Suitable for the colored design as well as moisture and UV protection of dimensionally stable wooden components (such as windows and doors), of limited dimensionally stable wooden components (such as tongue and groove cladding, shutters, gates, timber framing, etc.) and of non-dimensionally stable wooden components (such as cladding, fences, shingles, balcony railings, formwork, pergolas, etc.).
For outdoor use only, as Capadur UniversalLasur is equipped with a film protection against mold growth on the coating surface.

A notice: Film protection against mold growth can only temporarily delay mold infestation. Premature infestation can occur on extremely contaminated surfaces. The film protection does not address the underlying cause of the infestation. The duration of its effectiveness cannot be predicted, as it depends on the biological contamination level of the specific object.

Do not use wood stain on wooden components in contact with the ground. Exterior windows and doors may be treated on all sides with Capadur Universal Stain. Capadur Universal Stain is a decorative coating with protective properties against moisture and UV radiation. Before coating sheet-like wood materials (such as solid wood panels and plywood), please refer to the information in BFS Data Sheet No. 18, Section 2.2.3 ff.
