Sika® Pyroplast® ST-100 is a water-based fire-resistant coating for steel components in interior buildings. Under the influence of heat, Sika® Pyroplast® ST-100 forms a heat-insulating layer, thus increasing the fire resistance of steel components such as columns or beams.

Application:
Highly effective protection for increasing the fire resistance of steel components such as beams, compression and tension members in the interior of buildings (including open halls). Excluded are lightweight steel structures and components permanently exposed to constant moisture, frequent and prolonged periods of very high humidity, or highly corrosive gases. Note: In critical conditions, such as frequent condensation or surface temperatures exceeding +45°C, special measures may be necessary. In consistently dry environments, the topcoat is not required.
