The adhesion primer is universally applicable for recoating with water-based acrylic, acrylic-PU, and 2K PU lacquers, as well as with solvent-based, aromatic-free alkyd resin lacquers. LUCITE® 114 PU Primer is also suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates, such as sound existing coatings, non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, zinc), galvanized steel, wood, wood-based materials, plastics such as rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride), cathodic dip coating (KTL)-primed steel frames, powder coatings, coil coatings, melamine-coated substrates, and more. Note: A test application with adhesion testing according to DIN EN ISO 2409 is generally recommended.
