Substrate preparation

Proper surface preparation is crucial for a perfect result. Suitable surfaces include: - Old emulsion paints - Plaster - Gypsum plasterboard - Non-woven wallpaper - Fiberboard and blockboard - Other wood-based materials

The surface must be clean, dry, and load-bearing. Loose particles must be removed before processing.

Paint structure

1. Primer: Apply two coats of bonding primer, Jaeger Iso-Mineralgrund 309. If necessary, you can use a tinted version to enhance the later color effect.

2. Coating: This is followed by two layers of Jaeger Diamante 990, which create the characteristic diamond effect.

Processing of Diamante 990

Mixing: Stir the desired amount of diamond effect into the paint to individually control the glitter density. The mixed material can be used for up to 15 days.

Application: - Using a Wagner airless paint sprayer: Use undiluted or dilute with up to 5% water if necessary. - Alternatively, use with a brush, paintbrush, or roller: Apply undiluted.

Technique: Apply the paint in small sections without a specific direction. Immediately after application, texture the surface to achieve the typical cloudy effect.

Layers: Two layers ensure a brilliant shine and a spectacular interplay of light and shadow.

Drying (at 20 °C / 55% RH) - Dust dry after approx. 30 minutes - Completely dry after approx. 4 hours

Processing conditions - Temperature during processing and drying: 8 °C to 30 °C - Humidity: 30% to 80% RH - High humidity or low temperatures will extend the drying time.
