Intended use: FAKOLITH FK 9 is a liquid, phosphate-containing rust converter for the chemical pretreatment of steel with rust-inhibiting inhibitors. FAKOLITH FK 9 can be thoroughly removed with water or solvent after a short exposure time; the passivation process is thus controllable. A protective coating is then required for long-lasting rust protection.

Product features / properties: - Contains phosphate - Colorless liquid - Short contact time - Particularly environmentally friendly due to the surfactants used - For pretreatment of steel, including in the food industry - Not suitable for acid-sensitive surfaces such as aluminum, etc.

Application: - Apply at temperatures above +3°C - Use undiluted - Apply with a sponge, brush, paintbrush, etc. - Wear acid-resistant gloves - Allow to work for a few minutes - Rinse off with clean water or solvent, rinse, wash off, and allow to dry - A protective coating is required for lasting rust protection - Consumption depends on the degree of rust
