FAKOLITH FK 7 – Functional impregnation, deep primer and antifungal solution for outdoor use

Intended Use: FAKOLITH FK 7 is a multifunctional product for the renovation, hydrophobization, and consolidation of mineral substrates damaged by moisture in exterior applications. This water-based, transparent, silane-siloxane-based hydrophobization consolidates chalking substrates, effectively remediates substrates affected by mold and algae, hydrophobizes the surface, and reliably protects it from re-infestation. After dilution with potable water, FAKOLITH FK 7 reacts to form a solid, water-repellent layer within the building structure. Furthermore, the product exhibits good resistance to influences such as UV radiation, weak alkalis, and acids, and is also weather-resistant and dirt-repellent. The preservatives it contains are biodegradable.

Areas of application: FAKOLITH FK 7 Microemulsion is a combination of primer (substrate strengthening), impregnation, antifungal solution for the remediation of mold, algae, and moss, and a mold protection emulsion to prevent mold, algae, and moss growth. Sandy substrates are strengthened, and the surface is protected long-term and effectively from weathering without impairing vapor diffusion. Additionally, the substrate is thoroughly remediated in cases of mold, algae, or moss infestation and superficially protected against re-infestation and environmental soiling. The product can bridge cracks up to 0.2 cm wide. The surfaces to be coated should have a slight slope, as oversaturation of the substrate can also lead to discoloration.

FAKOLITH FK 7 can be applied to the following substrates: - Plaster and mortar - Bricks and clinker bricks - Calcium silicate bricks - Natural stone (according to sample laying) - Concrete and aerated concrete

Application: - Apply at temperatures above +3°C - Dilute 1:14 with water - Brush, roll, or apply evenly under pressure - Apply wet-on-wet in 2-3 coats - Consumption: Approx. 300-400 ml/m² ready-to-use solution = 20 ml concentrate (depending on the absorbency of the substrate)
