FAKOLITH FK 12 – Cleaner for removing contaminants in mold remediation and substrate preparation for FAKOLITH FK 14 antifungal solution

Intended use: FAKOLITH FK 12 Cleaner is an aqueous concentrate for removing dirt, efflorescence, and limescale deposits from almost all indoor and outdoor surfaces. Chlorine-free and biodegradable.

In mold remediation, wet cleaning with FAKOLITH FK 12 (PHASE 1) loosens surface deposits and optimally prepares the substrate for subsequent treatment with the antifungal solution FAKOLITH FK 14 (PHASE 2). Musty and unpleasant odors are neutralized by cleaning with FAKOLITH FK 12.

Intensive cleaning of the substrate with FAKOLITH FK 12 is essential to open the substrate's pores and remove existing dirt. This cleaning process optimizes the fungicidal effect of FAKOLITH FK 14 antifungal solution during mold remediation.

Application: - Application from +2°C - Water-dilutable, 1:2 – 1:4 or neat (for removing salt efflorescence) - Apply with a brush, paintbrush, sponge or spray gun - Contact time approx. 10 – 15 minutes - Rinse with clean water - Consumption: Depending on the application and intensity of the infestation - Recoat the cleaned surfaces with FAKOLITH FK 14 Antifungal Solution (PHASE 2 of the FAKOLITH 3-PHASE SYSTEM), DISPERLITH PRIMER or FAKOLITH FK 16 Deep Primer. - Final coating with FAKOLITH Professional Paints, e.g. FAKOLITH FK 5 with film protection against mold and bacterial growth.
