Strong adhesion, low-emission, 2-component epoxy resin emulsion primer and binder for versatile use as a primer, scratch coat and mortar binder, water vapor permeable.

Used as a primer before applying DinoFloor EP Finish W 450. In combination with DinoFloor Scratch Filler Sand 01/03, the product can also be used as a scratch filler.

Furthermore, the primer has very good adhesion to various metals as well as to tiles and other ceramic coverings and can therefore be used as a primer before subsequent coatings (except wet rooms and kitchens).

DinoFloor EP Grund W 400 is primarily used when vapor-tight primers are unsuitable. It is particularly suitable as a primer for substrates that are insufficiently dry, in contact with the ground, or sensitive to moisture, such as fresh concrete, magnesia coatings, concrete slabs with inadequate moisture protection, and similar surfaces.

DinoFloor EP Grund W 400 can also be used as a primer for DinoFloor OS Industrie EP 650, provided there is no rising damp. Sufficient curing and drying time must be ensured before applying the topcoat. DinoFloor EP Grund W 400 can also be used as a primer for creating slip-resistant broadcast surfaces for light to medium traffic areas.

The product hardens through chemical cross-linking after the water it contains evaporates, forming a durable, robust film. Its penetrating properties ensure thorough wetting of the substrate, creating a strong, adhesive base for subsequent layers. It reduces absorbency, binds dust, and, when subsequently troweled, produces a smooth, closed surface, suitable for coatings, for example.

To achieve a workable consistency, water must be added to the mixed material according to the application.

DinoFloor EP Primer W 400 cures within 8-12 hours, allowing for recoating. The end of the pot life is not visible. The product forms a hard film that is physiologically harmless.

The hardened product is resistant to water, aqueous salt solutions, dilute acids and alkalis; conditionally resistant to solvents.
