Aqueous, dispersion-based swimming pool coating

Sikagard®-140 Pool is a one-component, water-based, colored dispersion coating material with high water resistance.

Application:
Sikagard®-140 Pool can be used for the following applications:
- As a protective coating for concrete pools in indoor and outdoor areas
- As a protective coating for chlorine-treated public swimming pools, both indoors and outdoors
Sikagard®-140 Pool can be used on the following surfaces:
- Concrete
- Sikagard®-720 EpoCem®
- Sikafloor®-81 EpoCem®
- Sika® Icoment®-520 Mortar
- Sikagard® Pool Coat
- Water-resistant fiber cement boards (not permanently immersed in water)
- Coatings made of chlorinated rubber
Please note:
- Sikagard®-140 Pool is not suitable for water treatment using ozone or electrolysis.
- High chlorine concentrations of > 0.6 mg/l (specified in DIN 19643-2) can lead to chalking and discoloration.
