Anti-graffiti protective coating is a permanent system that forms a satin-gloss, transparent film. At the same time, the material prevents water and pollutants from penetrating the substrate. The protective film is resistant to frost and de-icing salt according to WTA guidelines. Graffiti and felt-tip pen marks can be removed from this protective film multiple times with Geiger Anti-Graffiti Cleaner; at least 10-15 cleanings are possible before it needs to be touched up. Water vapor permeability is not significantly affected (sd value 0.6). The system must be renewed after 5-7 years. Anti-graffiti protective coating can be applied to both non-absorbent substrates, such as painted surfaces, metals, plastics, stone slabs, tiles, etc., and all absorbent substrates, such as facades, plaster, external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), concrete, clinker bricks, natural stone, marble, wood, etc. Critical substrates, such as silicate paints, should first be pre-treated with No. 28 Bonding Primer S. Anodized surfaces must also be pre-treated with No. 28 Bonding Primer S before applying the anti-graffiti protective coating. Not suitable for hydrophobic and water-repellent substrates. Surfaces exposed to moisture penetration from the back should not be coated, e.g., freestanding walls. Fiber cement boards must be coated on all sides, including edges, cut edges, and drill holes. Furthermore, the board manufacturer's instructions for coating must be followed.
