KEIM GW-Primer is used as a primer in combination with KEIM Biosil white and KEIM Ecosil-ME. When using KEIM Ecosil-ME on existing organic coatings, KEIM GW-Primer must be applied as the first coat. For white coatings with KEIM Biosil or KEIM Ecosil-ME on gypsum board, KEIM GW-Primer is generally advantageous as the first coat. For colored coatings with Ecosil-ME on gypsum board and substrates with gypsum-based patching, an undiluted first coat of KEIM GW-Primer is mandatory. KEIM GW-Primer should not be used on pure gypsum plasters (P IV a,b and P Va).
