Kronen® Aqua Iso Stair and Parquet Varnish is the ideal choice for reliably sealing and protecting parquet and wood floors subject to normal to medium wear and tear. Whether for living spaces, wooden staircases, or balcony furniture in sheltered outdoor areas – this special varnish provides a durable, easy-care surface that stays beautiful for a long time.

With its easy application and excellent flow, the paint is simple to apply and achieves a uniform, high-quality finish. The surface boasts good abrasion resistance and high resistance to footprints and common household chemicals. Thanks to its filling power, the paint creates a smooth, homogeneous surface that remains attractive for a long time due to its high lightfastness.

Application & Processing

The 329 Kronen® Aqua Iso stair and parquet varnish is ideally suited for protecting and sealing parquet and wooden floors subject to normal to medium wear. The product is also perfect for balcony furniture or wooden stairs in sheltered outdoor areas.

Suitable substrates

The varnish adheres reliably to: - Parquet floors and solid wood - Wooden floors: MDF, OSB, hardboard, plywood, chipboard, laminated wood and other wooden substrates - Protected outdoor areas: for example, balcony furniture, wooden stairs

When used on special types of wood, especially exotic woods such as teak, we recommend conducting preliminary tests.

Preparing the substrate

For a uniform and lasting beautiful result, careful surface preparation is crucial. - Wooden floors and parquet: The surface must be clean, dry, sound, and free of dust and grease. Thoroughly remove all dirt beforehand and completely sand off any loose old coatings. Sand and clean new or untreated wood in the direction of the grain, remove any resin that may be seeping out, and break any sharp edges. - Existing coatings: Check for soundness and sand. Remove any unsound coatings down to the sound wood.

Tip: For wood used outdoors, additional impregnation is recommended to protect against blue stain.

Paint structure

Depending on the material and level of wear, the following layering is recommended: - Interior (floors, parquet, stairs): Apply 2–3 coats of 329 Kronen® Aqua Iso Stair and Parquet Lacquer. - Exterior / protected wooden components: Apply 2–3 coats of 329 Kronen® Aqua Iso Stair and Parquet Lacquer.

Light sanding between each layer is recommended for optimal results and a smooth surface.

Processing conditions

You will achieve the best results if the following conditions are met: - Material, substrate and ambient temperature: min. 8 °C to max. 30 °C - Humidity: 30% to 75%
