Solvent-based primer and topcoat with very short drying time

Unilack XPS D-28 is an all-purpose paint for coating a wide variety of components, both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the use of a silicone-modified alkyd resin, the painted surfaces are extremely weather-resistant. This paint can be used for both priming and topcoating, saving you both material and time.

Ideally suited for recoating and refinishing existing paintwork – suitable substrates include wood, rigid PVC, and aluminum. Indoors, Unilack XPS is used, for example, on windows, doors, panels, and railings. Outdoors, possible applications include soffits, garage doors, facade cladding, and windows and doors.

The quick-drying varnish is applied with a roller or brush. Two coats are necessary for optimal results. Due to its rapid drying time, both coats can be applied within a single day. It is very easy to work with, as it maintains excellent sag resistance even up to 200 µm. The smooth, even finish ensures a very homogeneous surface appearance.

The drying time at +20 °C and max. 60% relative humidity is: - Surface dry after approx. 4 to 6 hours - Recoatable after approx. 6 to 8 hours
