Universal, colored 2K epoxy resin coating for durable industrial floor coverings and also as a surface protection system in accordance with DAfStb guideline OS 8 “Chemically resistant coatings for trafficable, mechanically heavily stressed surfaces”.

DinoFloor OS Industrie EP 650 is a high-quality formulation with excellent coverage. Due to its low viscosity, the product is suitable for both roller coatings and as a topcoat for broadcast, slip-resistant surfaces.

This material is suitable for producing smooth coatings in thicknesses from 1 to 4 mm. The coating can be mixed with up to 0.7 parts by weight of DinoFloor EP filler (grain size up to 0.3 mm). Mixing with quartz sands is practical and economical for thicknesses of 2 mm and above. The coating material has good workability, flow properties, and smoothing characteristics.

DinoFloor OS Industrie EP 650 has well-balanced properties and can be used in a wide variety of applications. The hardened floor coverings are highly resistant to mechanical stress and exhibit good resistance to various chemicals. The coatings are resistant to water, salts, salt solutions, alkalis and bases, as well as dilute mineral acids such as hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. They also offer good resistance to many solvents such as gasoline, fuels, greases, oils, etc. Limited resistance exists with concentrated mineral acids. Resistance to concentrated and dilute organic acids such as formic or acetic acid is only short-term. There is no long-term resistance to chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, concentrated nitric acid, etc. For specific resistance requirements, please consult with a specialist.

DinoFloor OS Industrie EP 650 is available in various shades, although slight color variations are possible for technical reasons. Epoxy resin coatings are subject to slight color changes, which can be noticeable with lighter colors. However, DinoFloor OS Industrie EP 650 exhibits only minimal color changes for an epoxy resin product. Lighter shades, especially yellows, oranges, and whites, do not have sufficient coverage in a single coat, so the sand heads may remain visible. To achieve a uniform color appearance, a second sealant coat may be necessary.
