Diescolith SOL silicate is a combination of silica SOL in a nanostructure and high-quality water glass with a special tribrid formula. It thus combines the advantages of silicate and silicone resin paints.

Highly breathable SOL silicate paint

Matte, one-component facade paint based on silica sol-silicate. Complies with VOB DIN 18363, section 2.4.1. Diescolith SOL-Silicate produces low-stress, non-film-forming silicate coatings with low soiling tendency. Diescolith SOL-Silicate offers excellent adhesion for silicate paints. This allows for the recoating of matte existing coatings based on dispersion and silicone resins. Suitable substrates include matte, firmly adhering existing coatings and textured plasters based on silicate, dispersion, and silicone resins, calcium silicate masonry, and old and new plasters according to DIN EN 998-1. Not suitable for plasto-elastic coatings, glossy existing coatings, varnishes, and wood-based materials.

Due to its alkaline effect, the growth and reproduction of algae and mold fungi is inhibited.
